If you have problems downloading from the Amazon App Store, there are probably two reasons:  (1)Your memory is full or your (2)Settings need to allow Apps from sources other than Google Play.


1. Your memory is full. Often, your phone will not provide a "pop-up" to tell you this. It just will return a "blank stare" when you hit the Download or Install button!

  • Solution: 
    • Check your storage to make sure you have 13MB of space remaining! Delete apps from your Application Manager that you no longer need. 
    • Uninstall apps from your Application Manager that you no longer need in order to install The Beaconeer™ (Note: Uninstalling  from your Application Manager does not delete the app from your Downloads! You can always re-install it.) 
2. Current permissions settings won't allow Apps from sources other than Google Play

  • Solution: Change your permissions settings to allow The Beaconeer™ app to be downloaded!
    • Open Setttings. 
    • Go to Fingerprints and Security/ Phone Administration. 
    • Change setting to allow apps from "Unknown sources" You can always reset it after downloading The Beaconeer™

Known Issue and Fix with Beaconeer Notepad

Hello Everyone, thanks for feedback. Here' the explanation for a known issue and the "fix".  When entering new text in the Beaconeer™ Notepad, the text autosaves as long you hit any of the app menu buttons , including the app's "X" button.  However, if you happen to click on any Android phone's "back button" which operates outside of the app , it automatically closes the Beaconeer™, without saving your new text!  The Beaconeer™ is unable to extend execution of the "save" command to behaviors that occur outside of the app .
